Director, Telco and Video Distribution Partnerships | Google
Jennifer Koester leads the Telco & Video Distributor vertical for Google's Global Partnerships. In this role, Jennifer draws on her vast cable industry knowledge and unique perspective on the television ecosystem to increase engagement with Google video distributor partners and drive strategy for future growth opportunities.
She joined Google after 11 years at Cablevision, where she served as the Senior Vice President of Advanced Advertising Product and Data Analytics for the Media Sales division. In this role, she was responsible for developing linear TV, VOD, digital and data products to generate growth opportunities for the company's media sales teams as well as data insights tools for internal intelligence.
Jennifer started her career at Cablevision as an attorney, where she held the title of Vice President of Privacy, Product Management and Subpoena Compliance. She became a trusted legal advisor on data governance and complex privacy matters, including addressable advertising, mobile initiatives, ISP activity and behavioral advertising.
Prior to joining Cablevision, Jennifer worked as an associate for the entertainment and advertising department at both Manatt Phelps & Phillips LLP and Hall Dickler Kent Goldstein & Wood LLP. She also served as an associate in the intellectual property and information technology department at Brown Raysman Millstein Steiner & Felder, LLP.
Jennifer holds a BS in Management Information Systems from Binghamton University and a JD from St. John's University School of Law. She lives in Merrick, NY with her husband and two children.
