Vella, Zane

Zane is currently Vice President of Product within Comcast's Technology, Product and Experience division. He joined Comcast in 2016 upon acquisition of Watchwith, an industry leading interactive video company he founded in 2006. His team's role is to bring interactive content and services to Comcast's video products with a mission to better engage the audience and generate new revenue. Some of the initiatives he leads include audience voting on NBC's 'The Voice' and 'America's Got Talent', Fandango ticketing on movie trailers, and new product development at the intersection of voice, video and commerce. Prior to Watchwith, Zane was a producer and director of concert films and before that, as founder of SmashTV, a pioneer of early webcasting and virtual reality applications. Zane is a member of the Television Academy, holds a Master's from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
