Romo, Eduardo Kuri

Eduardo Kuri Romo has been CEO of Totalplay since 2012. The leading telecommunications provider in the IPTV market in Mexico, Totalplay offers an unmatched fiber optic network that provides cutting edge entertainment and business solutions.

Eduardo studied electronics engineering at La Salle University in Mexico City, and has a postgraduate degree from IPADE in Senior Management. With over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, he has been key to the development of technology businesses at parent company Grupo Salinas since 1995.

At TV Azteca, he oversaw network coverage, expanding the company's national footprint from 40% to 97% in less than a decade. He also led TV Azteca's digital migration, creating one of the first tapeless television networks in Latin America.

As Director of Technology and Systems of cellphone operator Grupo Iusacell, Eudardo built out the fastest network in Mexico. As CEO of Enlace, he later used cutting-edge fiber optic networks to provide innovative telecommunications solutions for corporate and small and medium-sized company clients.

Totalplay has built out 60,000 kms of fiber optic network in Mexico, the largest in the country and consistently number one in Netflix's ISP Speed index.
