Dade Hayes is Editor of Broadcasting & Cable, leading editorial operations across all platforms for the venerable television business brand. He joined B&C as executive editor in 2013, following editing and writing stints at Variety, Entertainment Weekly, the Los Angeles Times and the Associated Press. Hayes also spent three years as a Senior Vice President at Rubenstein Communications, handling corporate communications for Tribeca Enterprises, Paramount Pictures, News Corp., Hearst, the NFL and others. He has written two well-regarded books on media topics: Open Wide (2004, Miramax Books) and Anytime Playdate (2008, Free Press/Simon & Schuster). His freelance writing has appeared in outlets such as the New York Times, Forbes, TV Guide and the Boston Globe.
